Zadie's Singing Career

Zadie been learning new songs lately.  Beyond the staples such as Twinkle Twinkle and the ABCs, he's expanded into new tracks such as Taxi, Taxi and We are Family.  Every morning we are hearing a new song and loving every moment.  Here's one performance with the hand motions and all!

Zadie learned how to sing Happy Birthday and after Tsering, I secured the #2 spot! Assist goes to Shoriya for clarifying whose birthday it actually was.

Giggle2giggle

Hard to believe it's been a year since the last post!! We will in a bunch of videos from now and the last post. Shoriya had the giggles when she was a baby.  In this episode, her brother definitely now proves they are related. Now we definitely don't need to go to the Bronx zoo to see a couple of monkeys!   

Twinkle Twinkle

We are now taking Shori's favorite songs and adding musical accompaniment.  No better place to start than the piano and Amadeus' most famous song for kids.  Once we piano down, we'll create a set up for a brass + woodwind quartet and a conductor if necessary.  We were excited to see her keep the beat and follow along the notes.  One step ahead of daddy and she's not even 4 :)  

 

Hey hey we're the Monkees!

This is an oldie.  We took Shori to the Bronx Zoo and she loved it.  This was in the monkey cave and she gave her best impression of the sounds monkeys make.  It was easy for her, since she is a little monkey herself.  I think a few these little guys noticed the camera and came up to us to perform.  Lots of ooohhhh's and aaaaahhh's.
