Peekaboo!

I'm running a bit behind on uploading the most recent videos, but I'll back date them.  There are some good ones coming up fo' sure. 

Here's one where Cuddles decided to play peekaboo with us instead eating her food.  Of course, I was egging her on.  This is proof positive that I'm going to be one of those dads...

Whistling

This was Shoriya's first exposure and attempt shall I say at whistling.  It took a bit to get her attention.  Once she recognized there was something different in the air, she tried to imitate it...but with a high pitched original sound.  Did she just invent the 'whis-laugh'? 

This is MY House!

Shoriya invited her BFF, Jhanvi, over for a play date.  These two are so cute playing together.  3 minutes into this clip, Shoriya decides to become a bully and won't let her into the house! 

The "Ithy Ithy Moriya..." and other songs

Not sure if you that's how you spell the name of the song, but it definitely sounds like that!  Both mamama and bapama sing so many songs to baby Shoriya and she LOVES all of them!  We still haven't figured out what they mean, but we can tell with limited konkani-english translation that some of the songs involve butterflies, peacocks, riding horses and still others are about eating food like a good little baby.  Kalp and I try singing them, but inevitably wind up making up our own words.  Video on those later...  Here, Shori is learning one of those songs from mamama and then later on, performing it for us.
